Unbelievable how this time of year sneaks up on us. BabyfaceCards.com (my ecommerce store) is smack in the middle of the holiday card rush. What a fun endeavor this card company has been. Not only do I get to talk to great people, I am getting the chance to create something memorable for my customer.

The little side designs that started out as favors for friends and family, has really skyrocketed the last 12 months of being in business. We've been in the black since the 2nd quarter and have had over 150,000 visitors to the site. What's even more amazing is that every day, 600 people come to the site and spend and average of 4-5 minutes browsing.

I have learned an enormous amount about what it takes to run, design and maintain an e-commerce website. The man-hours are endless and the optimization and maintenance never ends. Nonetheless, it is extremely rewarding and look for us to launch our other new products in the upcoming year.
